How to use a generator
- Open any generator from the homepage
- Type or paste your text into the input field
- Select your target platform using the "Copy to" selector — the output adapts automatically
- Click Copy to copy the result to your clipboard
- Paste the output into your target app
Platform selector
The "Copy to" selector groups platforms by their formatting behavior:
- Unicode-based (Facebook, X/Twitter, Threads, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn) — output uses Unicode characters that render visually in any text field
- mrkdwn (Slack) — output uses Slack's mrkdwn syntax where applicable
- Teams markdown (Microsoft Teams) — output uses Teams markdown syntax
- Standard markdown (Discord, Markdown, Reddit) — output uses CommonMark-style bold/italic/strike
- WhatsApp / Telegram — output uses each platform's own formatting syntax
- HTML (WordPress, HTML) — output uses HTML tags
Some platforms have character limits. When a limit applies, a counter appears below the output:
- X: 280 characters
- Threads: 500 characters
- Instagram: 2,200 characters
- LinkedIn: 3,000 characters
- Discord: 2,000 characters
- TikTok: 4,000 characters
- Telegram: 4,096 characters
Why does Slack or Teams warn about some styles?
Generators like Fancy Text, Aesthetic, Bubble Text, and Smallcaps use Unicode Mathematical Alphanumeric Symbols to produce styled output. These characters render correctly on social networks, Discord, and most platforms, but Slack and Microsoft Teams display them as plain text or replacement characters. When you select Slack or Teams as your target, a warning appears to let you know the output may not display as intended.
